How Do You Know What You Don’t Know

We Don’t Know What We Don’t Know

Let this be a gentle reminder of the truth that we will never know everything about anything at all. And that’s okay.

What’s obvious to you need not be just as obvious to anyone else. All that matters is the willingness to keep learning for the better.

While this is not an excuse for staying conveniently ignorant, it’s good to remember that maybe everyone knows a great deal about something we may not even have heard of, and vice versa.

3 Reminders to Self:
  1. Staying quiet over matters may not be a direct indication of lack of knowledge and awareness.
  2. Every knowledgeable person need not have a perfect photographic memory about everything they have ever learnt in their lifetime at all times.
  3. Knowledge and Awareness transform into power only when transcribed into Efforts and Behaviour.

We may have been brought up with the notion that lack of knowledge is to be shamed and mocked and seen as an incorrigible fault in our existence. Nothing can be farther from the truth though. And, we always have a choice to be who we needed but maybe never really had.

We learn best by sharing.
